Have you had a chance to check out Part 1 of how we are trying to change the game?
Here’s a quick recap: Most fitness websites are trying to build a brand around email marketing, affiliate products and sketchy e-books. We want to set a new standard. We’re not looking to sell you on anything; we want to provide a service. So the plan is to cut out all of the crap – no emails, no affiliate products, and no ads. With all of that stuff out of the way we can actually connect with you and truly the answer the question; How can we help you?
As a matter of fact, we’re so committed to helping you that all of our workouts, videos and resources are available for FREE. If you like what you see and want to support our quest to change the game, you can kick in a few extra bucks. If not, we hope you’ll consider telling a friend to help us spread the word.
But that’s not even the entire story.
We’re all about helping you do more with less. That means less equipment, less time and better results. With that in mind, we use body weight exercises and kettlebells to create simple – yet challenging – workouts that deliver big time
When you think about why most people don’t exercise it comes down to a lack of time, knowledge and equipment. We’ll, there’s not need to spend hours working out; we’ve got the efficient workout thing covered. And, if you’re looking to brush up on your fitness knowledge you can check out the how-to guides, videos and blog.
Now, if only there were some way that we could help you get your very own kettlebell? Then, if you can’t make it to the gym – or, don’t have a gym membership – you can still workout.
We’ll, that’s exactly what we want to do – KETTLEBELLS FOR EVERYONE!
And, instead of charging you an outrageous price and sticking it to you on shipping, we’re offering an awesome deal – you pay what we pay for kettlebells.
Somehow Anthony negotiated us a super low price for kettlebells. We could mark up the price and make a huge margin, like everyone else. But, as you know, we are trying to change the game
So, here’s the deal.
You get a kettlebell shipped to your house for an amazing price. It’s the best we can do; really – if we went any lower, it would actually cost us money. And, if you appreciate what we are trying to do, you have the option of paying a little more to support the cause.
Now there are no excuses. Get a kettlebell, a workout and how-to videos from Hybrid Athlete and do work!
But, just in case you are questioning the need for or effectiveness of kettlebells allow me to explain.
The path to getting fit often carries us on some mysterious journey through never-ending cardio efforts, a cleanse diet, tortuous weight training sessions and an encounter with a drill instructor who doubles as a personal trainer.
Don’t waste your time and energy trying to sort out all of this nonsense. Just get a kettlebell already.
With your own kettlebell you can train all of the major muscle groups of the entire body. You can train strength and cardio at the same time. You can train at home, outside or at the gym. You really can expect better results in less time.
Wondering how? Allow me to introduce the kettlebell swing.
One of the most effective and versatile pieces of exercise equipment in existence, the kettlebell can be used to create an amazing total body workout. The first step is learning to perform the two-hand kettlebell swing. Hold the handle of the kettlebell with both hands, sink into a squat allowing the weight to hang between the legs. Keep the chest upright, the core flexed, and the arms loose. At the bottom of the movement shift your weight back onto your heels. Like the squat or deadlift, drive through the heels while using your hips and legs to move the weight, not your arms.
When you’re starting out, check out our videos for coaching and technique tips. Then, once you’re ready, try out one of the Do Work Wednesday routines. Start out slow and do what you can, then build up over time. Speed is not important, but using proper technique sure is. Be sure to squeeze both your glutes and core at the top of each rep. Remember; resist the urge to pull with your arms. Instead, let your legs and hips do the work.
And, as always, email us if there is anything we can do to help.
